Hello Loopernation,
I am back today with a picture tour of a place that is easy to find and well hidden at the same time. Most do not even realize it exists, even though the sign for it’s entrance is something you likely walk by every time you go to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Located across from the Starbucks, is the entrance to the Tree of Life Garden, a pathway that takes you right up to the front of the Tree of Life.
Once you enter the pathway, you can see the Tree of Life from afar as a nature path draws you towards to tree. The pathways start with bushes and smaller trees but as you get closer, walls and roots of the tree with animal carvings start to appear.
You can also see down into the queue for It’s Tough to be a Bug!
You will also discover caves with waterfalls cascading over head!
The best thing about the Tree of Life Garden path is how close you get to the tree itself!
Another great thing about the Tree of Life Garden trail is that no one knows about it. Even on the busiest of days, the trail remains largely empty. If you need to get away from the crowds and get some peace and quiet, this is the place to go. There is seating within the trail and the parks Tree of Life background music plays on hidden speakers. Tranquil is the best way to describe this path. So go get a drink at Starbucks or the Dawa Bar and make your way over to the Tree of Life Garden so you can sit down, relax and take in the beauty of the Tree of Life from close up!
The Tree of Life Garden trail does close at dusk due to the Tree of Life Awakening shows that appear on the tree after dark.
