Beef Marinade – ‘Ohana Restaurant

(Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort)

I hope you all enjoyed the recipe for the Beignets from Port Orleans French Quarter – yummy! I’ll bet you felt like you were in New Orleans and Tiana was back there in the kitchen frying them up for you!

Today, we’re going over to another resort – Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort – for their beef marinade. As fans of the podcast, you know about Bob’s relentless quest to get into ‘Ohana. Well, he finally did thanks to some wonderful Loopers. The question is – will they ever let him back in? Well, Bob… just in case it doesn’t work out for you, here’s a little recipe to help you keep a little taste of ‘Ohana with you.

So, if you’d like to enjoy this at home (and considering I’ve already scoured the internet to get the recipe for you, that’ll be pretty easy), just throw on your Mickey apron, set your table, grab your ingredients, and delight in a little bit of Disney in your own home.

Beef Marinade

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs. beef cut into cubes
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • ½ cup chopped garlic
  • ¼ cup black pepper

Directions

Place beef in a bowl and add oil, garlic, and pepper.

Mix well.

Place in a container and allow to marinate for 24 hours in the refrigerator.

When you are ready to cook, skewer the meat, and grill!

Delicious, right?

I hope you enjoyed taking a bite out of Disney right in your own home!
